about

Well hi there, 😀

Who am I, exactly? This faceless person who inhabits a tiny corner of the internet? Is she really faceless? Does she really talk about herself in the third person? What’s with the poetry? Has she EVEN read Till We Have Faces? Is Louise Taylor REALLY her name?

So many questions, so many questions.. No, sometimes, a lot, and DUH (though don’t ask me about it, it was years ago and I don’t remember a lot other than classics often don’t make much sense when you read them at a young”er” young”ish” age.) And who can say?

The poetry is a simple explanation, I love it. If I could become a poet, believe me, I would. Alas, I have not enough tragedy in my life, which I’m not complaining about, but poets are miserable people, and I *think* I don’t count.

As for the rest of it, there’s plenty to know, but no savvy way to go about it. You see, I don’t like being boring, dull, and monotone.

I’d love to tell you, in a brilliant way of humor, that I graduated early, I’ve got a pipe dream of becoming an editor one day, polishing things to perfection, and have been writing since I was old enough to realize I had no good answer to the question: What are you going to be when you grow up?

I’m known by all the ten-year-old boys at my church as “picture lady”, and despite the hoards of photographs I have proving their onset immaturity, they continue to berate me with no clue I could publicly humiliate them at any given instant. (The power of the photographer, guys, pictures of everyone else, and none of you.)

I decided to be a writer, and couldn’t for the life of me figure out what I was good at writing until I wrote a short story inspired by my co-workers, which in turn inspired a serial of mine called Leticia P.

My hobbies include driving, washing dishes, doing laundry, scrubbing bathroom sinks, and other such mundane tasks, because who has time for real hobbies when one is a writer?

I entered the blogging world in 2021, with my good friend Sarah Twilight, and after about a year of immense fun (seriously, don’t give life-long friends a blog, they will do things you would not believe 😉 we went our separate ways in the internet branding world.

When we first started this blog what I expected was a faceless crowd, sprinkled with dishonest persons.

But what I didn’t expect was a group of encouraging people who genuinely seemed to care about other’s writing, and not only that but claimed Christ as their Lord and Savior.

That’s important, community is important. Surrounding yourself with people who think like you is important.

So yes, if you were curious, that’s who I am, what I do, and what I hope to become. On an internet respective level, of course.

These are the things I wish I could tell you in a brilliant and humorous way, but alas I am too dull to concoct such a plan. Ah well.

Oh, and one last thing, don’t forget to laugh, even if it’s at yourself. 😀
